Inner Sloth has finally released the first clip of its upcoming animated TV show, based on its social deception game Among Us.

The first clip actually shows the main title theme for the upcoming series. In true Among Us fashion, the main title shows off a bit of goofiness, such as the Captain Red playing a game before being alert as command appears on his screen. Or watching Yellow and Brown making a pizza and fist bumping with an Imposter sneaking up behind them.

Variety reported last year that a TV series based on Among Us was in the works at CBS Studios. The animation studio assigned to work on the Among Us animated series is Titmouse, the studio behind animated series including Big Mouth and Star Trek: Lower Decks. Regular Show writer and storyboard artist Owen Dennis is taking point on the project.

Before today’s announcement, Inner Sloth and CBS shared minimal information on the show in 2024. The first piece of information was an image from the animated series depicting a pizza party gone wrong. In March, we learned the first wave of the cast for the series, with talents such as Elijah Wood, Ashley Johnson, Randall Park, and Yvette Nicole Brown all signed on for the project.

Among Us has spiked in popularity since 2020 as a way for people to socialize with friends due to the restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to the unprecedented increase in popularity that was not seen during its initial launch in 2018, Inner Sloth canceled the sequel and focused on post-launch support for the original game. Following the sequel’s cancellation, Inner Sloth embraced further development into Among Us, including adding a Hide ‘n Seek mode and new maps.
