Prime Video introduced on Thursday the solid for its upcoming DC animated sequence, Batman: Caped Crusader, together with the voice of its titular hero.
An X/Twitter video uploaded by Prime Video’s official account revealed that Midnight Mass star Hamish Linklater will play Batman within the animated sequence. Although the solid reveal trailer, narrated by Linklater, name-dropped the listing of actors becoming a member of him within the sequence, it didn’t specify his co-stars’ roles.
Fortunately, Prime Video shed some mild on a handful of roles for fan-favorite DC characters in a press launch. Key amongst them are Christina Ricci as Catwoman, Jamie Chung as Harley Quinn, and Diedrich Bader as Two-Face.

Batman: Caped Crusader, created by producers J.J. Abrams, Bruce Timm, and Matt Reeves, has gone by a tumultuous growth. A 12 months after its announcement, WB Discovery canceled the sequence in 2022, citing cost-cutting measures because the trigger. This, in flip, led to the present being shopped round by Netflix, Apple, and Hulu earlier than Prime Video formally picked it up for 2 seasons in 2023.
According to a beforehand launched press launch, the sequence will make the most of “state-of-the-art animation methods” to “reinvent the character and his rogue’s gallery with subtle storytelling, nuanced characters, and intense motion sequences, all set in a visually putting world.”
