Warner Bros. Japan stopped by Anime Expo to premiere a teaser trailer and new poster for its upcoming Batman Ninja sequel movie, Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League.
Much like how the unique 3D CG movie adopted Batman as he and his allies (and villains) had been whisked away from Gotham to feudal-era Japan, its sequel sees the cape crusader return to the samurai-laden period as soon as once more.
Although the film clip—which was shared on Warner Bros. Japan’s official X/Twitter account—was faster than a hiccup, it did reveal the aforementioned Yakuza League is none apart from the Justice League’s personal Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash, and Green Lantern. Seeing because the movie has the phrase “versus” in its title, it would not be wild to imagine Batman must contend along with his former allies for causes but to be revealed.

Here’s a better have a look at Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League’s poster, which options Wonder Woman sporting an eagle tattoo, The Flash sporting a conventional Japanese straw hat, Aquaman in a fisherman’s headband, and Green Lantern (seemingly Jessica Cruz) donned in a kimono garment while brandishing a Japanese-style lantern.

Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League was first introduced in May and, very similar to its predecessor, it’ll see actor Koichi Yamadera reprise his function as Batman. The film may even see the return of manufacturing members like Kamikaze Douga, the animator behind the CG anime opening themes for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. The casting for the remainder of the “Yakuza League,” in addition to the movie’s official launch date, have but to be introduced.
In our 9.7 overview of Batman Ninja, we mentioned, “Batman Ninja units a brand new customary for DC animated movies.”
