Interspersed with Legoshi’s coming-of-age story is a pulpy crime drama that showcases the determined energy struggles and deep-rooted classism rooted in its melting pot-esque society. Think Disney’s Zootopia if it had been a mature anime.
Beastars’ first season premiered on Netflix in 2020.
