Miami Marlins outfielder Dane Myers’ ejection in a sport towards the Cincinnati Reds on Saturday value him greater than only a few innings.
Myers kicked a clubhouse door after he was ejected from the sport after an argument over a strike name with an umpire. He stated he fractured his left ankle when he kicked the door.

“It’s powerful (to manage myself), but it surely’s one thing you gotta do as a professional,” he stated Sunday, by way of Bally Sports Florida. “I feel that is the final lacking piece in my sport, type of being even-keeled, staying level-headed and not likely letting the feelings take over and shedding myself like I did.”
It’s been a particularly troublesome season for the Marlins after the staff made the playoffs in 2023.
Miami picked up the win towards Cincinnati on Sunday, 3-2. But the staff is 33-63 on the All-Star break.

Myers is in his second season with the Marlins. He was hitting .265 with a .759 OPS and two house runs in 40 video games this season. He appeared in 22 video games final season and hit .269 with a .644 OPS and one house run.
“He’s going to overlook a while,” Marlins supervisor Skip Schumaker stated, via MLB.com. “A fracture — that’s by no means straightforward. It’s powerful for him. There’s plenty of alternative with Jazz getting plenty of infield play. [Myers] was going to get extra enjoying time.”

Jesús Sánchez began in proper area for the Marlins on Sunday. He was 1-for-4 with a run scored.
