Morgan Riddle, the girlfriend of American tennis star Taylor Fritz, blamed the media for overblowing her social media posts during which she appeared to mock Alexander Zverev and reference the assault allegations in opposition to him.
On Tuesday, Riddle posted a number of photographs of herself at Wimbledon and tried to make clear the remarks she posted on her Instagram Stories, which had been later deleted.

“Regarding my tales yesterday … I took them down as quickly as I noticed the misunderstanding and the way blown out of proportion that they had grow to be by the media,” she wrote. “They weren’t about something that’s occurred off the tennis courtroom & there’s no dangerous blood between anybody.
“Super pleased with T for the match yesterday, thanks to the group for the assist & trying ahead to tomorrow.”
Fritz staged an epic comeback to defeat Zverev and advance to the quarterfinals.

Celebrating the win, it was Riddle who had the final phrase. Riddle appeared to mock Zverev when she posted on her Instagram Stories.
“When ur man wins 4 the ladies,” she wrote referencing allegations that he assaulted a girl in 2020.
Riddle additionally wrote in one other submit, “cheer loud girls.”
Zverev settled the home abuse case after reaching an out-of-court settlement together with his former accomplice, who made the accusations. A German courtroom ended the trial again in June. He agreed to pay fines of round $162,000 to the state and about $54,000 to charity.

Prosecutors mentioned Zverev pushed the lady in opposition to a wall and choked her throughout an argument. Zverev maintained his innocence.
