NHRA nice John Force positioned in neurological ICU with severe head damage from horrific crash, crew says

The motorsports world continues to grapple with a latest high-speed crash on the Virginia Nationals. 

National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) legend John Force was concerned within the fiery crash, and his crew revealed the June 24 wreck left Force with a severe head damage. 

Four days after the accident, Force was taken to a neurological intensive care unit, his crew confirmed in an announcement. 

“Four days after his crash at greater than 300 miles per hour, drag racing champion John Force has moved from the trauma intensive care unit to the neuro intensive care unit, the place the medical crew can give attention to his head damage, which is their main concern,” the replace mentioned.

Immediately after a “catastrophic engine failure,” Force was “aware and speaking” with the on-site medical crew, his crew mentioned on the time.

He was initially positioned in trauma intensive care shortly after he arrived at a hospital not removed from the Virginia Motorsports Park.

Members of the Force household have remained on the driver’s aspect. Brittany competes within the Top Fuel division for her dad’s crew.

The crew’s different humorous automotive driver, Austin Prock, will compete this weekend.
