Well, it was sure to occur ultimately: the Catholic Church is making ready to canonize the first-ever gamer saint.

This is partly because of the problem of canonization and the size of time it normally takes, leading to most being canonized tens and even a whole bunch of years posthumously. In this case, Acutis’ youth and recognizability amongst youthful Catholics could also be useful to the Church in its ongoing efforts to attach with youthful people and digital natives.
