Semi-automated offside know-how will make its debut in English soccer in seven of the eight FA Cup fifth-round ties, it was introduced on Thursday. The know-how can be used in any respect the ties hosted at Premier League stadiums, with the all-Championship conflict between Preston v Burnley match the one exception. An announcement issued on Thursday confirmed the Premier League would search to introduce the know-how in its competitors later within the season.
