Sony is elevating the really helpful retail costs of PlayStation 5 consoles throughout Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. The firm cites “a difficult financial setting, together with excessive inflation and fluctuating change charges” because the catalyst for the rise.
The value will increase have been confirmed via a post on PlayStation Blog.

The value of the PS5 Pro has remained unchanged.
In the wake of comparable RRP hikes made in 2022, the PS5 is now significantly dearer in lots of territories than it was at its launch.
In Europe and the UK the PS5 digitial version is now €100/£70 dearer than it was at launch (up from €400/£360). In Australia, the usual PS5 is now AUD $80 greater than it launched at (up from AUD $750) and the digital version is up AUD $150 (from AUD $600). In New Zealand, the usual PS5 is now NZD $130 greater than it launched for (NZD $820), and the digital model has elevated by NZD $210 (up from NZD $650).
The RRP of the PS5 disc drive, nevertheless, is dropping to €80/£70/AUD $125/NZD $140.
