Lenovo Legion RTX 4070 SUPER PC for $1375.49
The Lenovo Legion Tower 5 Gen 8 is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 7700 CPU, GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER GPU, 16GB of DDR5-5200MHz RAM, and a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD. The AMD Ryzen 7 7700 CPU boasts a max boost clock of 5.3GHz with 8 cores, 16 threads, and a 32MB L3 cache. It’s cooled by a robust 120mm tower heatsink fan. There are three additional 120mm system fans to maintain proper ambient temps, both for the CPU and the rest of the components. The Legion Tower 5 uses a traditional front-to-back airflow configuration with few restrictions (the entire front grille is perforated) to provide ample amounts of cooling.
The RTX 4070 SUPER video card is a significant improvement in performance over the 4070. It’s the perfect card for 1440p gaming, where it’s about 10%-15% faster than the RTX 4070 or RTX 3080. Since this is an RTX 40 series card, it features DLSS 3.0. The RTX 4070 SUPER also has 12GB of VRAM compared to the 4070’s 8GB, so it’s a superior GPU for AI image generation apps (like Stable Diffusion) and other programs that benefit from large amounts of VRAM.
